Hi everyone!
Thanks for following along with the progress of PartyPicker.
This update brings a slew of bugfixes and new features.
New features:
- Made cards larger, so that they are easier to see
- Made combat UI only show active effects.
- Added power-up effects.
- Added card-draw effects.
- Improved main menu background.
- Improved character select screen background and UI.
- Added new temp sprites for grenadier and Alchemist.
- Added character select tooltips.
- Added hero active abilities.
- Created infrastructure to enable hero lane-won abilities in future.
- New game icon.
Characters and balance.
- Added fortune teller.
- Enabled all base game units.
- Made healing less powerful.
Bugfixes:
- Fixed damage miscalculations from vulnerabilities
- Fixed health showing the wrong value.
Not yet implemented:
- Combat Rewards
- Bounty Board
- Training Grounds
- Market
- Relics
- Character lane-won abilities
- Character unlock meta-progression
- Any semblance of balance (thus the timer is still in the game)
- Restrictions on what characters show up in the character select (Jamie will keep getting 3 Clerics)
- UI element legend in-game (it is on the Itch page though for reference.
Any feedback and bug reports would be greatly appreciated!
